This Wentzscope is fixed to a steel table top. The turntable in front is held below a protective cover and has room for 5 microscope slides.
The turntable rotates 360 degrees and can also be moved sideways so a large area of the slide can be scanned by the visitor.
Amongst the specimens on display are a cat flea and a lilly flowerbud showing the ovary.
