The 3-D Scope is a stereo microscope with a difference - it has a single viewing screen so there is no binocular tube to adjust, allowing both children and adults to see the image clearly.
Reflected light allows solid objects to be viewed at a magnification of up to 10x.
Focusing and specimen selection are by remote-control and an aperture in the cabinet allows the visitor to see the specimen with the naked eye.
