Dual Axis Magnislide
On the Single Axis Magnislide the magnifying lens is encased in a nylon head, which is mounted on a set of rails. The lens can be moved from side to side over a number of specimens, giving the visitor a magnified view of the objects as it glides over them.
The specimens, although clearly in view through a protective glass panel, are inaccessible to the user so providing a safe and secure means of displaying many different kinds of specimens (see projects for examples).
Lighting is provided by white LED's built into the sliding head of the magnislide. These LED's do not generate heat or radiate UV and so are safe to use with valuable or delicate specimens.
All Magnislides use a high quality glass magnifying lens, manufactured to give 'edge to edge' sharpness.
The double axis unit provides a means of moving the magnifying lens over a much larger area, as the head will move both side to side and up and down.
Independent of the case displaying the specimens the unit can be fitted over a range of different display cases (see example in projects ).
