The Monoscope is a single eyepiece microscope built into a mainly transparent enclosure.
It has built-in illumination in the form of white LED's, which do not generate heat or radiate UV.
Specimens are located on a 6 sample fixed turntable with height adjustable holders for coarse focus and a separate fine focus control. The Monoscope is available with magnification options of 20x or 30x.
With a wide range of applications this cost effective alternative is ideal for displaying textiles, plants and insects (see examples in projects).
The enclosure is available in a wide choice of colours.
